Timescapes in New Zealand is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our small, high-performing team. You will develop ML models (computer vision) and integrate them into our product capabilities.

As the second dedicated ML/AI hire, you will collaborate with product and engineering, run experiments with generative AI, and shape the ML lifecycle from data to deployment. This role offers the chance to impact construction progress tracking used by major firms across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Experience in building ML models, preferably computer vision solutions.
• Ability to work with product and engineering teams to deploy ML features.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy ML models (computer vision) for construction tracking.
• Run experiments with LLMs / generative models for problem solving.
• Develop software to manage the ML lifecycle (data, labeling, training).
• Source and curate training data for ML workflows.
