Job summary

Mitre 10 Kerikeri is seeking a motivated team member for our Trade Department to assist tradies and DIY customers with product knowledge and outstanding service. You will help keep on-the-floor stock, displays, and point-of-sale standards while maintaining safe work practices.

Applicants must have a current full NZ driver’s license and a forklift license (asset). The role requires a positive attitude, good time management, weekend availability, and physical fitness to handle manual handling.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service excellence with retail standards.
• Ability to connect with both DIY and Trade customers through product knowledge.
• Must hold a current NZ driver’s license; forklift license preferred.
• Good time management and a quick, alert mind.
• Willingness to learn and roster flexibility including weekend shifts.
• Physically fit with solid health and safety values due to manual handling.

Mitre 10 Kerikeriis looking for another team member to become an integral part of our Trade Department - helping tradies get what they need so they can get back to the building site quickly.

Do you have experience in providing superior customerservice and maintaining high retail standards? We need people who can connectwith both our DIY and Trade customers through outstanding service and excellentproduct knowledge.

We are looking for individuals with the followingqualities:

• Enthusiasmand team spirit
• Apassion for customer service excellence and a practical knowledge ofbuilding material products
• MUST have a current full NZ drivers and forklift license, a “F” endorsed Forkliftlicense an asset
• Goodtime management
• Aquick and alert mind and a willingness to learn
• Theavailability to work on a roster including one day of the weekend
• Physically fit and havesolid health and safety values as some manual heavy liftingisinvolved

Daily, you will be accountable for:

• - Ensuring customers are the number one priority, receivingthe highest standard of service they deserve;
• - Taking on responsibility for on-the-floor stock, displays,point-of-sale and standards within your department;
• - Contributing to the overall success of the store, activelysupporting loss prevention initiatives and process;
