Job summary

Stellar Recruitment Pty is seeking an experienced excavator operator for a growing New Zealand mining operation on the West Coast. You will work on large-scale production equipment, perform bulk earthworks, load haul trucks and carry out pre-start inspections in a safety-focused team.

This role offers an hourly rate of NZD 35–45 plus 8% holiday pay, relocation allowances, ongoing training and clear long-term career progression within a company investing heavily in people and equipment.

Qualifications

• Excavator operating experience.
• Class 1 licence minimum.
• WTR endorsement preferred.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Reliable with a positive, long-term mindset.

• Operate excavators in a large-scale production environment.
• Conduct bulk earthworks and material movement.
