Job summary

HOOP in Taupo is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser to bring brands to life in-store and support our nationwide field team.

You will build eye-catching displays, restock stock, ensure correct ticketing and compliance, and keep shelves neat while engaging with store staff. Reporting is done via a provided tablet. Flexible hours and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Based in Taupo, or within 10km.
• Minimum restricted driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Available on required days.
• Good technology skills for reporting.
• Organised, dependable, and able to work independently.

Part-Time Merchandiser – Taupo

At HOOP, we specialise in bringing brands to life in retail environments – and we’re looking for someone like you to join our nationwide field team.

This permanent part-time role offers flexibility, work-life balance, and the chance to work independently while being part of a supportive, experienced team.

The Role:

Approx. 35 hours per month plus regular additional tasks when required by our clients

Workdays: Early evening work, 7pm start in Pak n Save on a Sunday (around 2 hrs, plus regular display builds) , Tuesday (around 1 hr) and Thursday (around 2hrs)

There is also daytime work to be done on a Wednesday for a few hours

Daytime flexibility during the week would be good as we often have extra tasks to be done for our clients such as display builds, stickering, compliance or special promotions.

Key responsibilities include:

Skills & Experience

A merchandising or retail background would be good
