Job summary

DKSH Management Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Merchandiser for the Taupo region to maintain shelf presence and availability. The role involves 3 hours per week of in-store work on Mondays and Fridays, with early start requirements across the Ferrero brand segment.

Ideal candidates will have FMCG merchandising experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work physically with stock. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG merchandising is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Physically able to lift and move stock in-store.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Basic email and smartphone usage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain in-store availability and stock freshness through rotation and timely stock escalation.
• Ensure accurate, on-time display builds with correct placement, signage, and ticketing during store visits.
• Follow through on call cycles with sign-in and sign-out procedures at every visit.
• Proactively communicate with the Territory Manager on stock shortages and store-level issues.
• Foster positive relationships with store buyers and in-store contacts to support DKSH’s presence.
• Provide flexible in-store support including relay assistance, early starts, late finishes, and POS material handling.

About the Role

The Merchandiser keeps DKSH products looking their best on shelf, ensuring strong availability, correct placement, and a compelling in-store presence across a defined call cycle.

We are looking for Merchandiser to work 3 hours per week in the Taupo region on Monday and Friday. T his is across our Ferrero side of the business, and you must be available for early starts.

What You Will Deliver

• Strong in-store availability and freshness through consistent stock rotation and timely escalation of near-to-date stock
• Accurate, on-time display builds with correct positioning, signage, and ticketing across all store visits
• Reliable call cycle execution with store sign-in and sign-out procedures followed at every visit
• Proactive communication with the Territory Manager on out-of-stock situations and store-level issues
• Positive relationships with store buyers and in-store contacts that support DKSH's presence and reputation
• Flexible in-store support including relay assistance, early starts, late finishes, and Point of Sale (POS) material management as required

What You Bring

• Previous Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) merchandising experience is desirable
• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Physical fitness to lift product, work on ladders, and move stock in-store
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to work under pressure and to a high standard
• Basic tech skills including email and smartphone use
