Job summary

The Warehouse Group is seeking a Merchandise Planner in Auckland. You will own the category's sales, inventory and profitability plans, turning strategy into forecasts and stock plans to maximise availability and margins.

You’ll analyze performance, shape seasonal plans and support promotional decisions across close partnerships. You will work with Buyers, Supply Chain and Finance to translate data into actionable planning and continuous improvements, contributing to a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandise planning and inventory management.
• Strong forecasting and stock planning skills are essential.
• Excellent Excel and analytical capabilities are required.
• Strong commercial judgement and stakeholders management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own category sales, inventory and profitability plans.
• Build forecasts, stock plans and open-to-buy budgets.
• Monitor trading performance and respond quickly to opportunities and risks.
• Optimize inventory across the category lifecycle.
• Analyse sales and stock data to inform decisions on pricing, promotions and ranging.
