Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora's Cytogenetics laboratory in Hamilton is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to support karyotyping and FISH processing in a busy hospital setting. You will work with a team of scientists and pathologists to ensure accurate, high-quality results.

Qualifications

This varied and interesting role primarily involves processing samples for karyotyping and FISH analysis. You will work closely with a team of skilled scientists and pathologists to ensure accurate, high quality results are produced at all times.

About the Team/Service

Our busy medical diagnostic laboratory provides service to Waikato Hospital as well as surrounding satellite hospitals and community based services. Our Cytogenetics department provides a constitutional and acquired diagnostic genetics service including postnatal, FISH/FFPE and haematological testing.
