This role provides exposure to a broad range of injury presentations while developing expertise in injury assessment, rehabilitation and recovery.

You are an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon who enjoys solving complex clinical problems and communicating specialist opinion clearly and effectively.

You will bring:

  • Current MCNZ Vocational Registration in Orthopaedic Surgery and a current Annual Practising Certificate.
  • Contemporary clinical practice experience.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • A collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • A genuine interest in rehabilitation, recovery and improving outcomes for injured people.
  • Experience across public, private or mixed orthopaedic practice settings is welcomed.

  • Flexible working arrangements and location.
  • Flexible working hours within ACC's standard business hours of 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
  • No after-hours, on-call or acute roster commitments.
  • Professional fee reimbursement.
  • Ongoing professional development and peer collaboration.

At ACC, your expertise will directly contribute to decisions that influence treatment, rehabilitation and recovery outcomes for thousands of New Zealanders. You'll join a passionate team committed to helping people recover from injury and return to everyday life.
