The role requires leading a cross-functional team, hands-on design and prototyping, and ensuring safety and compliance in aerospace standards.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or related field.
5+ years hands-on experience in mechatronic/electrical systems design.
≥2 years in technical leadership or team lead role.
Deep understanding of embedded systems, PCB design, control systems, and actuators/sensors.
Experience with power management, motor control, UAVs or robotic systems.
Comfortable in a startup-style, fast-paced, solutions-driven environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Lead a cross-functional team of electrical and mechatronics engineers; foster innovation, ownership, and excellence.
Architect, design, and integrate electrical systems, power electronics, control systems, and embedded hardware for autonomous platforms.
Plan and manage team deliverables across multiple projects, ensuring on-time, high-quality outcomes.
Guide rapid prototyping and testing of electromechanical subsystems and problem-solving on the bench.
Collaborate with software, mechanical, and flight teams for seamless integration.
Implement best practices for design, documentation, testing, and validation.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, aerospace/military specs, and EMC guidelines.
