Job summary

Hr Mechanical Services Ltd is seeking a qualified EWRB Registered Electrician to inspect and fault find electrical assets across the Wellington region. The role is field-based, requiring travel to sites, with responsibilities including condition surveys, asset data recording, and reporting on network performance.

Ideal candidates will hold NZ EWRB practising licence, electrical trade qualification, and full work rights in NZ, with strong fault-finding skills and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Current NZ EWRB Practising Licence.
• Electrical trade qualification / Similar.
• Experience with overhead lines, underground cabling, or distribution networks highly regarded.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Great communication and a proactive attitude.
• Based in NZ with full work rights is essential.

A leading utilities company where you will be responsible for inspecting and fault finding electrical and power assets across the Wellington region. We’re looking for a qualified EWRB Registered Electrician to join a well-established and highly respected business supporting the Wellington electricity network. This is a highly varied field-based role where you’ll travel throughout the region inspecting electrical and power assets, carrying out fault finding, assessing asset condition, and reporting on network performance.
