Job summary

Wellington Utilities is seeking a qualified EWRB Registered Electrician to inspect and fault find electrical and power assets across the Wellington region. This field-based role involves travel throughout the region, assessing asset condition and reporting on network performance.

You will carry out condition surveys, testing, identify faults, and work closely with technical teams while maintaining the highest health and safety standards. NZ work rights are essential.

Qualifications

• Current NZ EWRB Practising Licence.
• Electrical trade qualification / Similar.
• Experience with overhead lines, underground cabling, or distribution networks is highly regarded.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Great communication and a proactive attitude.
• Based in NZ with full work rights is essential.
