Job summary

RobLawMax Recruitment partners with Lyttelton Engineering to appoint a Mechanical Project Documentation & Quality Coordinator for a major mechanical design and build project. This role focuses on coordinating technical, quality and compliance information across engineers, suppliers and site teams to ensure timely delivery and successful handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher engineering qualification with mechanical focus.
• Experience coordinating technical information across engineers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with quality plans, ITPs and inspection records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project document, drawing and deliverables registers.
• Coordinate engineering drawings, specifications, calculations and vendor information.
• Manage document revisions, transmittals, reviews and approvals.
• Track documentation against contractual and project requirements.
• Coordinate Inspection and Test Plans and related quality records.
• Collate material certificates, weld records, inspection reports and pressure-testing documentation.
• Follow up suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams for outstanding information.
• Support closure of non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Maintain fabrication, installation and commissioning records.
• Coordinate as-built documentation, O&M manuals and compliance certificates.
• Prepare mechanical completion and final handover documentation.
• Report on outstanding requirements and handover readiness.
• Identify incomplete or inconsistent technical information before it affects delivery.
