Job summary

Fulton Hogan Ltd in Christchurch is seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to lead the mechanical scope across our projects in water, wastewater, and process infrastructure, coordinating with electrical and civil teams.

You will manage procurement, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning, deliver QA documentation, and ensure H&S compliance, with a strong emphasis on collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 3+ years’ experience delivering mechanical scope in relevant sectors.
• Experience with MS Project and CCS is preferred.
• Knowledge of NZS 3910 processes and strong safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Oversee mechanical procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
• Coordinate multiple projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Maintain cost controls, procurement planning and value for money evaluations.
• Lead health & safety and ensure compliance with project requirements.
