Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Services team in New Zealand, based in Auckland or Christchurch. You'll lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services, including HVAC, ventilation, heating and cooling, across diverse projects.

You'll work with a multidisciplinary team, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with clients and contractors to ensure projects meet programme, budget and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3-7 years’ experience within building services consulting.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building systems.
• Experience delivering projects across commercial, healthcare, education, transport, aviation or public sector facilities.
• Understanding of sustainable building design and energy-efficient solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Working towards chartership.

We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Services team. This role can be based in Auckland or Christchurch, providing the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team delivering projects across New Zealand and the wider APNA region.

The role
