Job summary

Auckland Meat Processors is seeking reliable Production Workers to join our team in Auckland. The role is hands-on, physical, and fast-paced, with opportunities to work in slaughter, boning, packing, or dispatch depending on plant needs.

You will be involved in packing, weighing, packaging, quality checks and safe handling of meat products, while adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards. Full training provided and overtime may be available.

Responsibilities

• Packing, sorting, weighing and storing meat products.
• Preparing cartons, crates and other packaging.
• Checking products against quality requirements.
• Handling product and materials safely.
• Using knives, machinery or processing equipment where trained and authorised.
• Keeping your work area clean and hygienic.
• Following food safety, animal welfare and workplace safety procedures.
• Working with your team to meet daily production targets.
• Completing other reasonable production duties as required.
