Job summary

Leonard's in Auckland is seeking a reliable Production Operator for our Small Goods Processing team. You will help process, package, and ship our premium meat products while upholding food safety and quality standards.

This full-time, day shift role offers opportunities for training and a collaborative team environment at Greenmount Drive, East Tamaki. Applicants with experience in food processing are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food processing, manufacturing, or a similar production environment.
• Strong work ethic and positive, can-do attitude.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare a variety of small goods and meat products to established specifications.
• Operate processing equipment, including cutting, trimming, grinding, and other production machinery.
• Assist in the manufacture of sausages, bacon, cured meats, and other small goods products.
• Accurately pack, label, and prepare products for distribution.
• Adhere to food safety, quality assurance, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Support team productivity and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
