Job summary

AFFCO Manawatu is seeking a Meat Process Worker for our Feilding plant. The role involves handling beef and lamb processing tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Applicants should have six months experience with knives or meat products; NZ apprenticeships in Export Meat Boning, Slaughter Operations, or related certificates are available. Precautions include PPE and safe handling practices.

Qualifications

• Meat Process Worker with six months experience using knives or working with meat products.
• Preference for applicants with NZ meat processing qualifications or recognised equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Safely using sharp knives, and other equipment.
• Standing for up to 8 hours.
• Lift or move boxes at a minimum weight of 20kg.
• Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as provided by the Employer.
