Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a proactive Marketing & Events Specialist to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. The role is hybrid and ideally based in the Waikato region.

You will plan and deliver impactful marketing initiatives, engaging content, and high-quality events, working closely with sales teams, global marketing, customers, channel partners and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Events Management or related field.
• 3+ years in marketing, events, communications or similar role.
• Proven experience planning and delivering events from concept through execution.
• Strong written and verbal communication, ideally in a B2B environment.
• Experience with external suppliers, agencies or event partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital marketing platforms.
• Excellent project management and organisational capabilities.
• Collaborative approach and ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
• Growth mindset with willingness to learn and contribute to team success.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver internal, customer, partner and industry events across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
• Manage event communications, registrations, sponsorships, logistics and post-event reporting.
• Support the development and execution of regional marketing plans and activities.
• Create and coordinate marketing collateral and promotional campaigns.
• Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment with objectives and brand standards.
• Manage event and marketing budgets, track spend, and measure campaign effectiveness.
• Support channel marketing initiatives and sales enablement activities.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, partners, suppliers and agencies.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a proactive Marketing & Events Specialist to help drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. This is a hybrid role, ideally suited to someone based in the Waikato region. Combining creativity with strong organisational skills, you'll plan and deliver impactful marketing initiatives, engaging content, and high-quality events that showcase the Gallagher brand.

Working closely with sales teams, global marketing specialists, customers, channel partners, and external suppliers, you'll play a key role in creating memorable experiences and delivering marketing activities that make a real impact.

You’ll be responsible for

You'll Also Bring
