Job summary

AB Marine Services Ltd in central Auckland is seeking a fully qualified Marine Mechanic to join our workshop. You’ll diagnose, maintain, install and repair petrol and diesel marine engines and transmissions, with electrical work a strong advantage.

Ideal candidates have marine engineering qualification and 3-5 years’ experience, a Full NZ driver’s licence, good tools and fluent English. We offer a supportive team, varied projects, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Marine engineering qualification and 3-5 years' industry experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on inboard/outboard engines (petrol & diesel).
• Engine and drive installations, rebuilds, and refits.
