Job summary

Babcock International Group is seeking an Electrical Fitter to join the Marine Electrical team based in Devonport, Auckland. This hands-on role covers installation, maintenance and fault-finding on complex electrical systems across marine and defence environments.

You will read drawings, use test equipment, and communicate with stakeholders while delivering safe, quality work. The role offers varied work and opportunities to grow in marine/defence sectors.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Electrical Fitter with full registration.
• Experience in marine or industrial electrical environments.
• Willingness to work across installation, maintenance and fault-finding.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and fault-find on complex electrical systems aboard marine equipment.
• Read drawings and use test equipment to diagnose issues and return to service.
• Deliver clear technical reports and maintain records.
• Collaborate with the team to uphold health and safety standards.
