Busy Bees Mapua is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead a passionate team in a nature-based, holistic early learning environment. You will guide staff, foster meaningful relationships with whānau, and ensure high-quality care aligned with Te Whāriki and NZ regulations.

You will lead centre performance, manage occupancy and staffing, and mentor staff through growth cycles, while upholding the Busy Bees values and community connection in Mapua.

Qualifikationen

• Hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or NZQA approved qualification and current teacher registration.
• Proven leadership experience within the ECE sector with a passion for coaching and mentoring staff.
• In-depth knowledge of Te Whāriki, MOE Regulations, Licensing Criteria, and Teaching Council requirements.
• Experience using childcare management software and understanding enrolments, rosters, and occupancy targets.

• Deliver quality care and education with focus on compliance and financial results.
• Mentor kaiako through Professional Growth Cycles and 1:1 development discussions.
• Implement centre-specific strategic plans and robust internal curriculum evaluations.
• Manage occupancy, enrolments, and staff rosters to meet targets.
• Build deep community connections as the visible face and reputation of the centre.
• Ensure Te Tiriti o Waitangi is the foundation of bicultural education and Te Reo Māori is woven into daily life.
