Job summary

Mitre 10 is seeking a Trade Account Manager to nurture and grow our Mandarin-speaking trade customer base in Auckland. You will identify opportunities to increase sales, secure new accounts, and deliver outstanding service across every interaction.

Fluency in Mandarin and English, plus knowledge of the building or trade industry, will help you build strong relationships with builders, contractors, and business owners while representing Mitre 10 Mega Takanini at industry events.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Understanding of the building, construction, or trade sector.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own customer portfolio.
• Results-driven with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales within the Mandarin-speaking trade customer market.
• Build long-term relationships with builders, contractors, developers, and business owners.
• Identify and secure new trade account opportunities.
• Conduct customer visits and regular account reviews.
• Provide product advice, quotations, and pricing support.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.
• Achieve sales, profitability, and customer growth targets.
• Represent Mitre 10 Mega Takanini at industry and community events.
