Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Management, Business, Higher Education, or closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated tertiary teaching experience and commitment to high quality student learning.
• Experience coordinating teaching activities such as paper delivery, assessment, moderation, examinations, or curriculum support.
• Understanding of contemporary tertiary pedagogy and evidence-based teaching practice.
• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience working collaboratively with academic and professional staff.
• Interest in teaching innovation, educational technologies, and the effective use of generative AI within teaching and assessment.
• Demonstrated ability to support positive student experiences and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.
• Commitment to upholding Ngāi Tahu values and working respectfully within the cultural context of the region.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to teaching activities, assessment and examination processes.
• Coordinate teaching-related activities, tutor coordination and development.
• Provide academic leadership and coordination across teaching-related activities.
