Job summary

Endura Mining is embarking on a growth phase with a foundational maintenance function. We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan, resource and schedule maintenance for the Snowy River processing plant and related infrastructure.

You will turn work requests into a weekly, actionable plan and collaborate with maintenance, operations and supply to keep the plant reliable and available. This role suits a candidate with maintenance or trades background, strong organisation, and a hands-on approach

Qualifications

• Substantial post-trade or maintenance experience with fixed/mobile plant.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule and organise maintenance work.
• Practical understanding of processing or heavy industrial plant maintenance.
• Commitment to working safely and protecting colleagues.
• Competent with maintenance management software and office tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the weekly schedule of work orders for the maintenance supervisor.
• Provide estimates of duration, dates and resources for achievable plans.
• Review and develop future maintenance schedules with key stakeholders.
• Monitor schedule compliance and equipment availability; report KPIs.
• Maintain plant spares lists; coordinate parts with warehouse and procurement.
• Plan external contractors and statutory inspections on site.
• Manage maintenance spend and deliver required reporting.
• Develop PM content and support reliability improvement initiatives.
• Support commissioning and establishment of maintenance systems for the new plant.
• Maintain clear communication with maintenance, operations and supply teams.

We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan, resource and schedule all maintenance work for the Snowy River processing plant and associated infrastructure.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be the engine room of the maintenance function, turning equipment strategies and work requests into a clear, achievable weekly plan that keeps the plant reliable and available.

This role suits someone with a maintenance or trades background and a methodical, organised mind. You will work closely with the maintenance supervisor, operations and the warehouse to make sure the right work is done at the right time, with the right parts and people, at the right cost.

As our Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for:

Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and deliver the weekly schedule of work orders to the maintenance supervisor within agreed timeframes.
• Provide accurate estimates of duration, dates and resources to support clear, achievable plans.
• Review and develop the future maintenance schedule with key stakeholders to optimise plant availability and reliability.
• Monitor schedule compliance and equipment availability and report against maintenance KPIs.

Materials & Cost

• Review and maintain plant spares lists and identify critical spares for warehouse stocking.
• Liaise with warehouse and supply to ensure parts availability matches the plan.
• Plan the activities of external contractors required on site, including statutory inspections.
• Manage maintenance spend in line with budget and deliver maintenance reporting as required.

Systems & Continuous Improvement

• Continuously review and develop the preventive maintenance (PM) content and context within the maintenance management system.
• Support reliability improvement and defect-elimination initiatives with sound data and history.
• Support commissioning and the establishment of maintenance systems and routines for the new plant.
• Maintain clear communication with the maintenance, operations and supply teams.

About you:

• Substantial post-trade or maintenance experience in fixed and/or mobile plant.
• Demonstrated planning, scheduling and organising ability, with strong attention to detail.
• Practical understanding of processing or heavy industrial plant maintenance.
• A genuine commitment to working safely and supporting the safety of others.
• Competent user of maintenance management and standard office software, including scheduling tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills.
