Job summary

Life Plus Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Operator for a busy food manufacturing site in South Auckland, located in Wiri. This 4-week assignment (with potential for ongoing casual work) starts 14 September, Monday to Friday, 5:00am – 2:30pm, at a pay rate of $28.00 per hour in Auckland.

You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining accurate maintenance

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operator to support a busy food manufacturing site in South Auckland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.

Location: Wiri, Auckland
Duration: 4 Weeks (with potential for ongoing casual work)
Start Date: 14 September

About the Role

About You

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, or FMCG environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical troubleshooting skills preferred
• Ability to diagnose faults and respond to equipment breakdowns
• Understanding of workplace safety and quality standards
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Trade qualification or relevant maintenance experience is advantageous
