This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a nationally connected team that plays a critical role in helping ensure Kāinga Ora homes are safe, well maintained and fit for purpose.

As an Operator, you'll be at the heart of our maintenance delivery model, processing a high volume of maintenance requests and helping turn customer needs into action. You'll assess and validate service requests, determine the appropriate trade and priority, and create accurate work orders that enable maintenance work to be delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

No two days are the same. You'll work closely with maintenance partners, contractors and internal teams to ensure information is accurate, timely and complete so work can progress without delay. You'll also help monitor progress, support performance outcomes and keep stakeholders informed, particularly when managing urgent or more complex cases.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an evolving service, contribute to continuous improvement, and help embed new ways of working that deliver better outcomes for our customers. You'll join a supportive team environment where collaboration, problem-solving and making a difference every day are at the heart of what we do.

Based in our Addington, Christchurch office, working Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm, giving you the opportunity to work alongside your teammates in a highly collaborative and energetic environment.

We have multiple fixed-term opportunities, making this a great chance to build your experience, contribute to meaningful work, and be part of an important transformation journey at Kāinga Ora.
