Job summary

EVT, Sherwood Queenstown, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the hotel's building, plant and equipment maintenance, ensuring safety, compliance and high service standards. In this role you will manage contractors via MyBuildings, monitor budgets and energy usage, and contribute to WHS and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance or engineering for a building.
• Knowledge of BWOF, AS/NZ Standards, WHS requirements.
• Budget management and contractor performance.

Responsibilities

• Protect the integrity of the hotel building, plant and equipment across mechanical/HVAC, fire, electrical, hydraulics and other building services.
• Maintain the Building Warrant of Fitness and Compliance Schedules to AS/NZ Standards.
• Keep fire alarm/detection, hydrants and sprinklers operational and compliant at all times.
• Manage maintenance contractors through MyBuildings, including work requests and KPI reviews.
• Oversee Repairs and Maintenance expenditure against the annual budget and monitor utility usage to reduce wastage.
• Lead the maintenance team and contribute to WHS procedures and incident reporting.
