Job summary

Hirock Limited is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join their maintenance team. This role involves maintaining quarry plant and equipment safely and reliably. The ideal candidate will be trade-qualified, experienced with crushers and conveyors, and competent in welding. Strong safety and communication skills are essential. Qualifications

Skills

Job description

We’re looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team, keeping our quarry plant and equipment running safely and reliably.

Skills & experience

• Trade-qualified fitter, fitter/welder, maintenance engineer (or similar experience in heavy industry/quarrying).
• Experience maintaining crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps and related fixed plant.
• Competent ARC and MIG welding.
• Gas cutting and grinding experience.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong safety focus and ability to follow site systems (e.g. permits to work, hot work, lock-out/tag-out).
• Willingness to comply with PPE requirements (overalls, hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, steel cap boots).
• Physically fit and able to carry out hands‑on maintenance work on quarry plant.
