Tetra Pak is hiring in New Zealand for installation and preventive maintenance roles across Christchurch, Timaru, and Hamilton. You will prepare customer sites, assemble machines and conveyors, and install rebuild kits while reinstating equipment into production environments.

Ideal candidates have limited hands-on technical experience and a willingness to develop skills in maintenance and installation tasks.

Qualifications

  • Limited hands-on technical experience expected, with opportunities to grow.
  • Willingness to develop skills in maintenance, repair and installation tasks.
  • Previous role: Maintenance Engineer or similar is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare customer sites for installation events, assembling machines and conveyors.
  • Assist in installing rebuild kits and reinstate equipment into production environments.
  • Use TPMS tool to report preventive maintenance and document work.
  • Identify opportunities for business development and customer engagement.
  • Follow OHS and safety regulations and promote a safe working culture.
  • Represent Tetra Pak professionally with customers and maintain company reputation.

Job Summary: Under supervision execute installation tasks and preventive maintenance tasks of less complex nature. We currently have openings in Christchurch, Timaru, and Hamilton, New Zealand.

What you will do:

  • Participate in preparing customer site for installations events, assembling machines and conveyers
  • Participate in the installation of relevant re building kits according to procedure and reinstate equipment into production environment
  • Use of TPMS tool to report preventive maintenance, correct workGood knowledge and understanding of relevant technical documentation
  • Proactively contribute with opportunities and ideas regarding business development of customers
  • Execute all work in accordance to OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture in the team
  • Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring and promoting good working relationships with the customer and that TP's reputation is sustained.

We believe you have limited experience in hands on technical work. Willingness to develop skills and perform maintenance and/or repair work and installations tasks. Previous position: Maintenance Engineer
