Job summary

Tetra Pak is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our service and technical teams in New Zealand. You will execute preventive maintenance and installation tasks on customer equipment, manage automation support and utility systems, and ensure safety and quality across multiple dairy and food sites in Canterbury and surrounding regions.

Based in Christchurch or nearby, you will work independently at customer sites, perform testing and calibration, document work with TPMS, and contribute to

Qualifications

  • High school or technical school diploma or equivalent with focus on technical hands-on work.
  • Ability to independently perform preventive maintenance, installation tasks and rebuilding kit installations.

Responsibilities

  • Execute preventive maintenance activities in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment.
  • Execute disassembling and mechanical assembling of capital equipment at customer site.
  • Participate in the installation of electro mechanical rebuilding kits according to procedure.
  • Execute testing and calibration activities.
  • Use of TPMS tool to report preventive maintenance, correct work.
  • Proactively contribute with opportunities and ideas regarding business development of customers.
  • Execute all work in accordance to OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture in the team.
  • Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring and promoting good working relationships with the customer and that TP's reputation is sustained.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer who will work independently within Tetra Pak's service and technical teams, supporting customers in New Zealand dairy and food industry.

As our Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for executing preventive maintenance and installation tasks on customer equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You will manage the technical aspects of equipment maintenance, automation support, and utility systems, while ensuring adherence to scope, budget, quality, and schedule.

We currently have openings in Christchurch, Timaru, and Invercargill, New Zealand.

What you will do

As Maintenance Engineer, you will:

  • Execute preventive maintenance activities in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment
  • Execute disassembling and mechanical assembling of capital equipment at customer site
  • Participate in the installation of electro mechanical re building kits according to procedure
  • Execute testing and calibration activities
  • Use of TPMS tool to report preventive maintenance, correct work
  • Proactively contribute with opportunities and ideas regarding business development of customers

We believe you have
