Job summary

Blackbook Executive in Hamilton, NZ seeks an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a 24/7 high-volume processing facility. You will fault-find, perform preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns across the site.

Role requires electrical competency, PLC literacy with Allen Bradley, Siemens and Schneider, VSDs and SCADA exposure; NZ citizenship or right-to-work is essential, with Queensland licence accepted where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current electrical licence or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Able to read and troubleshoot PLC programs.
• Exposure to AB, Siemens and Schneider PLCs.
• Experience with VSDs, motor control and industrial automation; SCADA a plus.

• Electrical fault finding and diagnostics on a high‑volume 24/7 facility.

Blackbook Executive - Hamilton, North Island

Day & Night Shift Available | Kilcoy, QLD

$48.28/hr Days | $56.08/hr Nights | Permanent Full-Time

Blackbook Executive is partnering with a major food manufacturing and processing operation in the Kilcoy region to recruit experienced Maintenance Electricians for both day and night shift positions.

What's On Offer?

• Day Shift: $48.28/hr
• Night Shift: $56.08/hr (15% loading)
• 4:00am - 4:00pm or 4:00pm - 4:00am
• 5 on, 4 off / 4 on, 5 off roster
• Regular overtime available
• True time-and-a-half for the first 2 hours overtime
• True double time thereafter

The Role

Joining a large maintenance team, you'll be responsible for electrical fault finding, preventative maintenance and breakdown response across a high-volume 24/7 processing facility.

About You

• Current Queensland Electrical Licence or ability to aquire
• NZ Citizenship
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• Ability to open, read and troubleshoot PLC programs
• Exposure to Allen Bradley, Siemens and Schneider PLCs
• Experience with VSDs, motor control systems and industrial automation
• SCADA experience highly regarded
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Q Fever vaccinated or willing to obtain
