Job summary

Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers is seeking reliable Machine Operators for multiple Canterbury sites. You will operate production machinery, monitor performance, and contribute to efficient manufacturing processes.

Opportunities include day and night shifts on full-time hours, training where required, and potential for long-term, permanent roles. Candidates with a mechanical mindset and good health and safety awareness are encouraged to apply, with teamwork and flexibility

Qualifications

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Machine Operators for a range of manufacturing roles across Canterbury. We have opportunities available with multiple clients and manufacturing sites, offering the chance to work with a variety of machinery and production processes.

Whether you have experience operating CNC machinery or other industrial equipment, we want to hear from you.

Depending on the site and position, your duties may include:

• Operating and monitoring production machinery
• CNC machine operation eg press brake, laser
• Operating a variety of tools and and industrial machinery
• Loading and unloading materials
• General factory tasks
• Quality checking finished products
• Following production and safety procedures
• Keeping work areas clean and organised
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets
