Job summary

Willow Tree Produce Limited in Auckland is hiring a full-time Tray Sealer Machine Operator for our Mount Wellington cut-fruit processing team. You will operate and monitor the tray sealing machine to ensure safe, smooth, and efficient production.

You’ll set up and start up production lines, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic preventive maintenance to maintain high quality standards. Day shifts (7am–5pm), 40 hours per week, with at least one weekend day.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of machine operation experience
• Food/FMCG background preferred, but other industries welcome
• Detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy and quality

About the Role

We're currently seeking a full-time Tray Sealer Machine Operator to join our cut-fruit processing team at our Mount Wellington site. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating and monitoring our tray sealing machine to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production.

You'll set up and start up production lines, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and carry out basic preventative maintenance to keep production running to a high standard.

Hours/Days of Work

Full-time - 40 hours per week

Day shifts (typically 7am - 5pm)

Must be available to workat least one weekend day

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced: at least 1 year of machine operation (food/FMCG preferred, but other industries welcome)

Practical: basic preventive maintenance knowledge

Detail-oriented: strong focus on accuracy and quality

A problem solver: able to spot and resolve issues quickly

A team player: good communicator, reliable, and punctual
