An opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of cloud, hybrid, and modern workplace environments. Balancing hands-on Level 3 operational support with major infrastructure projects, this role focuses on driving continuous system improvements, enhancing cloud security, and optimising enterprise platforms. Candidates with a background in Managed Service Providers (MSP) or complex enterprise environments are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Hybrid Architecture: Design, implement, administer, and continuously optimize core cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms.

Level 3 Escalation: Provide advanced L3 troubleshooting for complex incidents across infrastructure, networking, and identity environments.

Project Delivery: Act as the technical infrastructure representative for medium-to-large delivery projects, executing integration plans and transitioning solutions into BAU.

Security & Monitoring: Maintain cyber threat visibility and manage security tools across endpoints, identity, and modern workplace applications.

Documentation & Automation: Author technical support documentation, refine operational processes, and implement continuous automation.

Core Technical Requirements

Cloud Platforms & Architecture: Azure Architecture, DevOps, Power Platform, Power BI, and Fabric.

Microsoft 365 Administration: Deep expertise in Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.

Identity & Access Management: Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and hybrid identity configurations.

Endpoint & Application Management: Intune (MDM/MAM), PKI/Device Certificate management, and enterprise app packaging/deployment.

Cloud Security Operations: Microsoft Defender suite, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Front Door.

Desirable Experience & Certifications

Microsoft Certifications: MS-102, MD-102, AZ-104, SC-300, or MS-900.

Virtualization & Infrastructure: Nutanix / Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV) and Windows Server OS (2016 through 2025).

Networking & Security: Zero Trust architectures (FortiSASE / CASB), TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, and network cabling.

Specialized Systems: Milestone CCTV administration and Windows 11 / IoT device management.
