EWC Engineers Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E RTO supervisor for a university project in New Zealand. You will review drawings and specifications, ensure safety compliance, and supervise LV/HT, ACMV, plumbing and fire alarm systems on site.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant supervision experience, IES accreditation, and strong communication skills. The project runs for 27 months with a possible 6-month extension, starting November 2026, on-site in Queenstown.

Formación

• Diploma / NCCS in M&E required.
• 5+ years as M&E RTO on educational institution projects.
• Experience in Electrical LV/HT, ACMV, Plumbing & Sanitary, Fire Alarm.
• IES accreditation mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Review all project drawings and specs; raise discrepancies before M&E works commence.
• Submit weekly RTO report highlighting progress and quality issues.
• Attend site meetings and site walks with Owner and consultants.
• Administer Safety Management System and conduct inspections with safety personnel.
• Check on-site quality of works and rectify non-conformities; report to authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Codes of Practice and government requirements.
• Observe site safety, submit reports, and ensure safe working methods.
• Supervise all M&E works as required by Building Control Act & Regulations.
• Monitor progress and certify contractor monthly progress claims.
• Date of commencement: Nov 2026 (estimated).
• Contract Period: 27 months + up to 6 months (optional).

Responsibilities:

• Review all project drawings (including working drawings, shop drawings, authority submission drawings and as-built drawings) and specifications, and raise any discrepancies and / or possible problems before the Electrical (LV and HT), ACMV, Plumbing & Sanitary, Fire Protection System commences on site and progressively throughout the entire course of the project
• Submission of weekly RTO report for the completed M&E works, which shall highlight the progress or any quality issues.
• Attend site meetings and site walks with Owner and consultants
• Administer the university’s Safety Management System and conduct periodic inspections on the provision of safety measures together with the Contractor’s site safety supervisor or Contractor representative to ensure that the Contractor complies with the Safety requirements
• Check on site quality of works, materials and samples delivered to site, take measures to rectify any non-compliance and report to Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications
• Ensure that the contractors carry out their work in compliance with Codes of Practices and requirements of authorities and government agencies
• Observe and comply with site safety, submit all reports as directed, and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner
• Supervision of all M&E works as required under the project and mandated under the Building Control Act & Regulations
• Monitor the progress of work and certify contractor monthly progress claim according to actual work done on site

Requirements:

• Diploma / NCCS holder or higher in M&E discipline
• Min. 5 years of experience as M&E RTO on local projects for Educational Institution projects
• Experience in Electrical (LV and HT), ACMV, Plumbing & Sanitary and Fire Alarm System
• Good communication skills
• Accreditation of M&E RTO Certificate by IES
• Required experience in supervision work for Electrical High-Tension (22kV) including Switchgear Installation, Transformer Installation and Cable Laying Works.
• Experience with 66/22kV Transformer Replacement / Installation will be an advantage
