The Warehouse Group is seeking a vigilant Loss Prevention Officer to join our Masterton store on a part-time basis. Your focus will be preventing theft, ensuring staff and customer safety, and upholding store standards.

Key duties include monitoring security cameras, maintaining a visible shop-floor presence, engaging with customers, and logging events on our crime reporting platform. Previous customer-facing experience is beneficial, and the role suits someone who can stay calm under pressure

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is beneficial but not required.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and clear communication.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and de-escalate when needed.

We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security cameras
• Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
• Interact with customers and address their concerns
• Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.

Hours of work are:

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.

Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
