The Warehouse is seeking a vigilant Loss Prevention Officer to join our team in Wellington. Your core focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of staff and customers, while maintaining a friendly, accessible store presence.

You'll monitor security cameras, engage with customers, and help resolve incidents with calm, professional de-escalation. This role suits someone with retail or hospitality experience or a proactive learner.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is beneficial but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are important.
• Experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.

We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras
• Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
• Interact with customers and address their concerns
• Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.

Hours Of Work Are

• Sunday - Wednesday 4:00pm - 9:30pm

Qualifications

He kōrero mōu ake - About you

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.

Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
