Job summary

Kraft Heinz in New Zealand is seeking a Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) focusing on SAP to support the ANZ SAP S/4 implementation. You will provide functional logistics expertise, document current processes, and help design future-state solutions with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, readiness and adoption activities, and strong problem-solving in a changing, fast-paced environment. Travel to sites in New Zealand may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in process improvement and/or transformation projects.
• Ability to document requirements and translate business needs for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience supporting workshops, testing, and training.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Travel availability on a routine basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide Logistics domain SME input across design, build, and deployment.
• Document and validate current-state processes and business requirements.
• Support future-state process and solution design aligned to SAP S/4.
• Participate in workshops and design discussions; review proposed changes.
• Support issue and risk management within the stream.
• Contribute to testing, including scenario input and defect triage.
• Support change and readiness activities (training inputs, communications, adoption).
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and provide regular updates to the Stream Lead.

Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) - SAP

Role Summary

The Logistics SME provides functional expertise and business process knowledge for the ANZ SAP S/4 implementation. Working with the Stream Lead, project team, and business stakeholders, the role supports end-to-end process and system design, documents and validates business requirements, and contributes to readiness, testing, and adoption across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• ProvideLogistics domain SME input across design, build, and deployment.
• Document and validate current-state processes and business requirements (including pain points/opportunities).
• Support future-state process and solution design aligned to SAP S/4 and business needs.
• Participate in workshops/design discussions; review and validate proposed process/system changes.
• Support issue and risk management within the stream (process, data, solution), including escalation where required.
• Contribute to testing (scenario input, execution support, defect triage, outcome validation).
• Support change and readiness activities (process documentation, training inputs, communications, adoption support).
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and provide regular updates to the Stream Lead.
• Work in line with Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, Ethics, and Human Resources policies and uphold Kraft Heinz values.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in process improvement and/or project, transformation, or system-related initiatives.
• Able to document requirements and processes and translate business needs into practical solutions with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience supporting workshops and delivery activities (e.g., testing, training, implementation).
• Comfortable working in a changing environment with competing priorities.
• SAP/ERP or large-scale system implementation experience is advantageous.
• StrongLogisticsfunctional knowledge; effective communicator and collaborator in a matrix environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage priorities and timelines.
• Ability to travel on a routine basis.
