Heartland Bank LTD is seeking a Line 2 Assurance Analyst to join our Enterprise Risk team in Auckland. You will independently deliver targeted assurance reviews across key non-financial risks, regulatory obligations and policies, helping strengthen Heartland's risk maturity.

You'll work with senior stakeholders, challenge constructively, and contribute to ongoing improvement of assurance practices while maintaining independence essential to Line 2 assurance.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years' experience within Assurance, Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, or a related Line 2 function
• Experience within banking, financial services, or a regulated environment
• Demonstrated success delivering assurance reviews, audits, control assessments, or risk reviews
• Experience engaging with senior leaders and governance stakeholders
• Teritiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law, Management or a related discipline

Responsabilités

• Leading and delivering risk-based assurance reviews across a range of non-financial risk domains
• Producing high-quality assurance reporting that delivers meaningful insights and drives improvements
• Providing balanced, independent challenge and becoming a trusted advisor to stakeholders
• Contribute to the continual improvement of assurance practices and the organisations overall risk maturity
• Building strong relationships across the business while maintaining appropriate independence and objectivity
