The University of Auckland invites applications for a Lecturer in Inclusive Education in the School of Education and Social Practice. This full-time, permanent role contributes to teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs and advances research in Inclusive Education and Disability Studies.

The appointee will supervise Masters and PhD students, shape curricula, seek funding, and engage with schools and communities to promote equitable learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• PhD in Inclusive Education or closely related field.
• Strong record of teaching and research in Inclusive Education.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity-centred educational practice.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality teaching in Inclusive Education and Disability Studies.
• Supervise Masters and PhD research students.
• Develop and enhance undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum.
• Build and maintain a programme of high-quality research and scholarly publications.
• Seek external and internal research funding opportunities.
• Participate in conferences and knowledge mobilisation activities.
• Contribute to School, Faculty and University service initiatives.
