Qualifications

• Experience of working with ākonga, kaiako, whānau and external agencies to support learning and wellbeing.
• Ability to work with leadership teams to identify learning priorities and to build capability across schools.
• Demonstrated success in working inclusively and supporting diverse learning needs in classrooms.
• Sound knowledge of the learning support system and its processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate learning support across primary and intermediate schools in the Porirua West area.
• Engage with kaiako to plan for learning support needs of ākonga.
• Support the development of teaching practice to meet diverse learning needs.
