Taupiri School in New Zealand is seeking a passionate Learning Support Coordinator to join our kura. You will work with a supportive team and our SENCo/Deputy Principal to ensure tamariki receive the assistance they need to thrive in learning and school life.

We value proactive, organized, flexible people with strong communication skills who can collaborate with teachers, whānau and outside agencies. Experience with students who have additional learning or behavioural needs is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students who have additional learning or behavioural needs is essential.
• Understanding of the SENCo role and learning support processes would be an advantage.

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Learning Support Coordinator to join our amazing kura!

You will be working alongside an outstanding, supportive team and our experienced SENCo/Deputy Principal to ensure that all tamariki have the support they need to thrive in their learning and school life.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, flexible and passionate about making a difference for learners with additional needs. You will have strong relationship-building and communication skills, and be confident working collaboratively with teachers, whaanau and outside agencies.

Experience working with students who have additional learning or behavioural needs is essential. An understanding of the SENCo role, learning support processes and/or experience with funding and support applications would be an advantage.
