Job summary

Titirangi School in Auckland seeks a learning support coordinator to join from Term 1, 2027. The role partners with the Deputy Principal/SENCO to support learners with diverse needs and lead wellbeing across the school.

The LSC will oversee IEPs for LS students, plan PLD, and coordinate teacher aide timetables, with a 0.8 role plus 0.2 release teaching. Experience with inclusive education, assessment, and evidence-informed interventions is essential, and NZ teacher registration is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead Mitey across the school.
• Prepare Individual Education Plans for LS students.
• Provide PLD for teachers on inclusive education, including staff meetings.

• Lead Wellbeing across the school (student, staff & community).
• Manage the 0.8 LSC role with 0.2 release teaching.

We are seeking a learning support coordinator (LSC) to join our team from the beginning of Term 1, 2027. The successful candidate will work closely with our Deputy Principal/SENCO to support students in their learning needs. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced teacher who is passionate about working collaboratively to make a difference for our community. The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the relevant collective agreement.

Our LSC will lead, influence and collaborate to ensure that every learner is recognised, supported and able to thrive. They will also lead Wellbeing across our school.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leadership of Mitey across the school
