Job summary

Ao Tawhiti Unlimited Discovery Canterbury is seeking a Learning Advisor (Teacher) of Music to teach across the school, from Year 1 to scholarship level. This is a full-time permanent position starting from 2027 onwards within our arts curriculum.

The successful candidate will be flexible, innovative, and have a strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, embedding culturally sustaining practice to support all students. They will allow student passions to shape course planning.

• Certificated teacher qualification required.

We are looking for an exceptional learning advisor (teacher) to teach music across the school, from Year 1 to scholarship level. This is a full-time permanent position from 2027 onwards.

The successful candidate will be flexible and innovative in their practice. They will have a strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and how to embed culturally sustaining practice to support success for all our students. They will have the confidence to allow students' passions and interests to contextualise course planning.
