CORDE Ltd invites applications for a Leading Hand in our Three Waters team in Canterbury. You will oversee a range of drainage projects, read plans, and mentor crew members while driving production targets.
The role requires at least 5 years in drainage or water, a Full Class 1 Licence (essential), and WTR endorsements (essential). Preferred Class 2-4 licences, and a strong safety mindset are also valued. NZ residency or valid work visa is required.

We have one of the largest horizontal infrastructure teams in the South Island working in the maintenance, civil, and water industry. The work we do strengthens the communities we work and play in, with several key long term maintenance contracts throughout the Canterbury region and a number of civil projects currently being completed throughout the South Island.
We have a busy forward work program and are looking for a Leading Hand to join our Three Waters team. You will have a good knowledge and understanding of three waters networks with experience in pipelaying, backfilling and compaction, working in and around trenches and service connection.
As a Leading Hand, you will play an important role in managing and overseeing a wide range of projects. You will be experienced at reading and interpreting plans, communicating effectively and meeting production targets. You must have strong leadership skills and will be able to demonstrate that you have trained and mentored team members in the past. These are essential skills in order to be successful in this position and a leader within our business.
