Job summary

Viridian Glass in Cromwell, Otago, is seeking a Leading Hand Glazier to join our established team. You will bring demonstrated skills in glazing and installing glass into both commercial and residential environments and help drive project excellence.

We value a proactive, safety-minded leader who can coordinate daily activities, mentor peers, and maintain a high standard of workmanship. A NZ drivere license and relevant NZQA Level 4 glazing qualification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential and/or commercial glazing.
• Proven experience working with frameless glass (balustrades, partitions, showers, etc.).
• Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a team, coordinating daily activities.
• Dedicated safety focus.
• Full NZ drivers licence.
• Physically able to perform a high number of glass lifts daily.
• Minimum of three yearss work experience in glazing or NZQF Level 4 certificate or higher including the credit and knowledge requirements of a glazing strand.

Skills and experience you'll bring:

• Experience in residential and/or commercial double glazing
• Proven skill working with frameless glass (balustrades, partitions, showers, etc.)
• Proactive, self‑starter mindset with strong communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a team, coordinating daily activities
• Dedicated safety focus
• Full NZ driver's licence
• Physically able to perform a high number of glass lifts on a daily basis
• Minimum of three years' work experience in residential/commercial glazing or a certificate at NZQF Level 4, or a higher qualification including the credit and knowledge requirements of one strand in the New Zealand Certificate in Glazing (Level 4)
