Job summary

Viridian is seeking a skilled Glazier for our Whangārei branch. You will install and glaze on residential and commercial projects, delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include on-site glazing, repairs, and safe handling of glass, with a strong emphasis on health and safety. Competitive wages reflect experience and a clear path for growth.

Qualifications

• Must prioritise health and safety and follow site procedures.
• Qualified glazier with frameless glass installation experience.
• Strong communication and ability to build client relationships.
• Hold a full New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Physically fit with the ability to handle heavy glass.
• Three years glazing experience or NZQA Level 4 glazing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Install glass in residential and commercial buildings on site.
• Perform on-site glazing repairs and replacements to a high standard.
• Safely load, transport, and unload glass to site.
• Follow all health and safety procedures on site.
• Deliver high-quality installations with excellent customer service.

As a Glazier at our Whangarei branch, you will be responsible for installing and glazing across a range of commercial and residential projects, delivering high quality work and exceptional customer service.

What you're there to do:

• Hands‑on installation of glass into residential and commercial buildings in a safe, profitable and effective way
• Perform on‑site glazing repairs and replacements to a high standard
• Safely load, transport and unload glass to site
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Deliver high quality installations while providing excellent customer service

Skills & experience you'll bring:

• Strong commitment to health and safety practices
• Qualified Glazier with frameless glass installations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers
• Full NZ drivers' licence
• Physically fit and capable of safely handling frequent manual lifting of glass throughout the day
• Minimum of three years' work experience in residential / commercial glazing OR a certificate at NZQF Level 4, or a higher qualification, which includes the credit and knowledge requirements of one strand in the New Zealand Certificate in Glazing (Level 4).
