Stantec is seeking a Principal Water Treatment Process Engineer in New Zealand to lead technical excellence in water treatment and drive project success across the country. You will mentor staff, oversee budgets and risk, and contribute to client relationships and proposals.

The role offers a path for impact on drinking water, wastewater and broader infrastructure programs, with a focus on innovation and resilient design for communities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Provide technical expertise in process engineering in Water Treatment.
• Provide national technical leadership on projects, developing people and tasks, budgets, scope and risk.
• Identify, develop, and mentor technical staff.
• Contribute to business development through client relationships and opportunities.
• Contribute to proposal and bid development to support business development.
• Work with client and stakeholders during development of technical solutions and present outcomes.
• Deliver outputs on time and within allocated budgets, endorsed by the client.
• Assist with applying standards and improving design innovation while managing risk.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on water treatment projects.
• Develop and manage budgets, scope and risk for projects.
