Peter Alexander is launching a brand-new store at The Base in Waikato. As Assistant Store Manager, you will help lead the team, drive sales, and deliver the Peter Alexander experience from day one. You’ll support stock, merchandising, and rosters while shaping the store culture and guest experience.

This full-time leadership role offers a structured training plan, opportunities for development, and staff benefits, including exclusive product discounts and wellness support.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail with leadership or supervisory experience.
• Passion for fashion and customer service.
• Ability to support sales targets and KPIs.
• Visual merchandising experience is a bonus.

Looking to join the magical world of Peter Alexander as anAssistant Store Manager?This is your chance to support the Store Manager in launching and leading our brand-new store in THE BASE! Helping create an exceptional experience for your new team and customers from day one! As one of the founding leaders of our newest store, you'll help shape the culture, inspire your team, and deliver the magical Peter Alexander experience from day one.

This is aFULL TIME LEADERSHIPposition of 38hours per week, working Sunday to Thursday, including late night trading hours and public holidays.

A Day in the Life

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and maintaining a customer-first store atmosphere.
• Help train and develop your team to enhance their performance and growth.
• Assist with stock control, visual merchandising, and ensuring the store stays organised and welcoming.
• Contribute to creating a positive, motivating environment for your team.
• Help manage rosters and ensure the store is appropriately staffed during peak trading times.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in retail, with leadership or supervisory experience.
• A passion for fashion and providing great customer service.
• Ability to support sales targets and KPIs and help your team achieve success.
• Visual merchandising experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience in a high stock volume business is a bonus.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
