Job summary

Databricks Inc. in Auckland, New Zealand is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive delivery of complex data/AI engagements for enterprise clients, balancing project scope, timelines, and customer outcomes.

You will own commercial delivery from project initiation to completion, advise senior stakeholders, manage risk, and coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Solutions Architects, Sales, and Partners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex, enterprise-scale data or AI/ML projects in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Experience managing projects with teams up to 5 people and contract values > $0.5M.
• Ability to engage senior executive stakeholders, including CxOs, to drive clarity and alignment.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial delivery of services from project administration to director level across multiple engagements (2–3 weeks to 6 months).
• Serve as trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders; drive clarity, alignment and confidence.
• Proactively manage risks, align cross-functional teams, ensure customer outcomes are met or exceeded.
• Ensure accurate project reporting and keep stakeholders updated on progress and success.
• Identify expansion opportunities and influence roadmaps to enable continued Databricks adoption.
